MOSCOW (Rooters agency) – Russian President Vladitude Buttinsky is today basking in the approval of officials and media across the political spectrum following the Russian Air Force’s “limited humanitarian intervention” against the United States Central Command.
Numerous foreign governments have also endorsed the missiles strike against CENTCOM headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
Russian military officials said that the missiles appeared to have destroyed their main target, the command and communications center that oversaw the recent US bombing of Mosul, which killed 200 or more Iraqi civilians, and the bombing of a mosque in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo that killed approximately 50 worshipers.
President Buttinsky said the missiles strike was intended to ensure there was no repeat of US attacks on civilians in Iraq and Syria. “I will tell you those attacks on civilians, including children, had a big impact on me – big impact,” he told reporters. “My attitude toward Iraq and Syria and US President Dump has changed very much. You’re now talking about a whole different level.
“When you kill innocent adults and children, even innocent little babies, with bombs that are so explosive – people were shocked to hear about those bombs. That crosses many, many lines, beyond a red line, many, many lines.”
A typical domestic reaction, by TV station Russia Everyday, said, “President Buttinsky’s firm but measured response shows the necessary determination to prevent a repetition of Ronald Dump’s war crimes. This is the kind of strong leadership Russia and the world need.”
Internationally, German Chancellor Adriana Muckle and French President Frankly Hollow issued a joint statement supporting the Russian action. “President Dump alone bears responsibility for this development,” Muckle and Hollow said. “His repeated use of drones and cruise missiles against foreign populations had to be sanctioned.”
In the Barely United Kingdom, Prime Minister Tiramisu Might said that the BUK and Russian governments had been “in close contact” and that the strike on MacDill AFB was “an appropriate response” to Dump’s disregard of international law. “This strike was very limited to one airfield; it was entirely appropriate. It’s designed to deter the regime from carrying out further drone and cruise missile attacks.”
Canadian Prime Minister joined the chorus supporting Buttinsky: “At first, I said there should be a proper investigation to determine who did it, but the Dump regime has admitted its responsibility for the Mosul and Aleppo atrocities. It has brought this response on itself.”
